This was by far the coldest day of 2018 – being spring?

You 2 were an amazing couple, you braved the cold and helped me get some spectacular images! Stunning clouds, warm love and an amazing couple!!!

This was one of those weddings I just couldn’t wait for!!!  Having known Willem and Chanel since the start of their relationship, I knew this day was going to be extra special.

We had a few early morning showers, which made everything bright & clean. And Wow! An awesome winter sunset, like only the Free State can deliver.

Road tripping to this venue brought back so many memories, as a child I grew up in this area, so many of the landmarks were so familiar.

When meeting Anrika and Nils at their engagement shoot, I got the feeling this was going to be a family wedding, every aspect being very sentimental. One of their favourite pastimes is hunting, so being close to nature was a must, as well as this little town’s famous landmark – Koffiebus & Teebus – the mountains!

This day started off with a bang, meeting the groom and his best men, I knew we were going to have so much fun!

Driving in to Monte Bello, I was surprised at how beautiful the venue looked after the rain, lush and green!! My bride Izel was super chilled and ready to marry the man of her dreams!!

Having known Cherne for quite some time, I knew their wedding day was going to be something special. I met Hennie at their engagement shoot and saw that this was a match made in heaven!

Cherne got dressed at her parents house and the emotions were tangible, but she was relaxed and excited!  Hennie got dressed at Monte Bello and was ready for action.

The 2 of them couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and venue.

Come rain or sunshine, Danelle & Lomon were getting married!!!! Danelle’s excitement to walk down the isle and marry the love of her life, was so contagious. And the beautiful venue, being very special to Danelle and her family, made sure this wedding would be just perfect!!

As Danelle arrived at the ceremony, it started to drizzle, and being an outside wedding, I wondered if my bride would proceed. She was not going to wait another second and made her grand entrance. Needless to say the skies paused, and presented us with some amazing clouds, and gave us more than enough time to capture their special day!

This was definitely one of those weddings where I was blessed with having all a photographer can ask for!!!

I have known Leande for sometime now, having met her through a mutual friend and client. So having heard about her engagement, I prayed that I would be the lucky one to capture her special day!
